For some quick weeknight grilling action! If you’re cooking for a few friends, or for a party, these kebabs will do the trick. Wash it all down with cold beer or wine.

Serves: 4-6 Preparation time: 15′ Cooks in: 10′ Ready in: 25′

Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts, in cubes
2 medium onions, chopped
1 carrot, grated
2 garlic cloves, germ removed
2 tsp Tabasco
4 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
paprika, cumin, sesame seeds
extra-virgin olive oil
wooden skewers soaked in water for 20 minutes
salt, freshly ground black pepper

Method

Step 1
Grind chicken in your food processor with the garlic, onion, carrot, Tabasco, 2-3 tbsp oil, salt and pepper. Transfer in a bowl and mix with parsley.

Step 2
Set oven to 200C / fan. Take a small amount of the mix and make long “sausages”, threading them onto soaked skewers. Sprinkle kebabs with paprika, cumin and sesame seeds and cook on a grill pan or under grill in a pan lined with parchment paper for 10-12 minutes, turning regularly, until cooked through. Feel free to cut a piece open to check if they’re done.

Step 3
Serve with green salad, warm pittas and spicy tomato sauce or yogurt dip.
