Juicy burger with mustard and capers baked in the oven and serve with potatoes baked in lemon juice.

200g. minced beef

200g. minced pork

5 tsp. tablespoons of breadcrumbs

1 egg

1 tsp. tablespoons capers

1 tsp. tablespoon soft mustard

1 medium onion, 4 pieces

1 cup sparkling water

1 cup fresh chopped parsley

½ cup olive oil

salt and freshly ground pepper


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180ºC. In a small blender mash the capers and onion with the mustard.

Step 2

In a deep pan put both minced meat, breadcrumbs, egg, then mash the mixture with the capers, the sparkling water, and parsley. Season to taste and mix all together until smooth.

Step 3

Grease your hands with oil and shape 8 burgers. Grease a baking pan and spread the burgers. Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes. Then turn them over, put the grill of the oven on and bake for 5-6 minutes. Serve the burgers immediately.

Step 4

Serve with potatoes baked in lemon juice.
