The ultimate fancy Valentine’s Day easy dessert! All you need is love, fresh berries, melted chocolate and the right companion to share them with!

There are two things you need to pay close attention to when making this delicious dessert.
1) Melt your chocolate correctly.
2) Buy the best strawberries you find in the market.
3) Make sure your strawberries are super dry.
4) Consume the same day.

TIP
We recommend you didn’t remove the green parts on the strawberries for easier dipping into the chocolate. Make sure you pat dry the green leaves as well, otherwise drops of water might run down the dry strawberries.

Ingredients
20 strawberries
250 g semisweet chocolate, chopped
1 tsp butter

Method
Step 1
Rinse strawberries gently and pat dry using kitchen paper. Line a shallow baking dish with non-stick baking parchment.

Step 2
In a saucepan, melt chopped chocolate with butter over low heat, stirring frequently. Remove pan from heat.

Step 3
Dip lower half of each strawberry into chocolate; allow excess to drip into saucepan. Place on non-stick baking parchment.

Step 4
Refrigerate uncovered about 30 minutes or until chocolate is firm. Eat the same day. If you wish, melt some white or dark chocolate, put in a pastry bag with a very narrow nozzle and make lines on the firm chocolate, for a more intricate result.
