You will love these burgers! They are juicy, spicy and enclose beautifully melting cheese. The perfect pair with cold beer or wine!

Serves:Preparation time: 20′ Cooks in: 30′ Ready in: 50′


For the burgers
800 g minced beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, grated
2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
salt, freshly ground black pepper

For the filling
4 tbsp cream cheese
100 g Kaseri cheese (or Provolone or Muenster), grated
1 red chili, finely chopped


Step 1
For the burgers: Put all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and divide in 4 portions.

Step 2
For the filling: Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

Step 3
Roll out each portion of meat into a big round patty. Put 1/4 filling and form a burger pinching the sides to seal the filling. Flatten.

Step 4
Cook on a grill pan or grill for approximately 7 minutes on each side. Serve with potatoes and ketchup.
