If you love artichokes and hummus then you’ll love this recipe! It’s a fun twist on traditional hummus and no brainer – very easy to make and a lot of different flavors to please any palate.

1½ cup can chickpea, washed, drained
½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
4 jar artichoke hearts, drained
1 large garlic clove, finely chopped
1 lemon, juiced
4-5 parsley sprigs, finely chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
Arabic flatbreads or naan bread, for serving


Step 1
Whizz chickpeas together with artichokes in a blender until smooth, adding olive gradually until incorporated. Add garlic, parsley, salt and lemon juice and whiz again until smooth and well combined – loosen with a little water if you like. If you don’t have a blender, use a fork to mash smooth.

Step 2
Taste for lemon or salt and add accordingly. Sprinkle with oregano and serve with warm flatbreads or naan bread.
