Ingredients
a little oil for frying
Greek strained yogurt for serving

For the burgers
1 kg minced chicken thigh or breast
1 spring onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
½ tsp allspice, ground
½ tsp dried oregano
salt, black pepper

For the sauce
1 medium onion, grated
2 garlic cloves
2 medium tomatoes, grated
a few mint leaves
½ tsp grape molasses
2-3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
salt, black pepper

Method
Step 1
Mix all ingredients for the burgers with salt and pepper until well combined. Make medium-sized burgers and cook in a non-stick frying pan in a little oil until cooked through.

Step 2
In the meantime, in a sauce pan on medium heat cook onion and garlic in the oil until fragrant. Stir in tomato, grape molasses and mint, season with a little salt and pepper and simmer on low heat for 10 min. until sauce thickens.

Step 3
Serve burgers with sauce and some yogurt on top.
